What Are SEUs?

Scrum Education Units (SEUs) are the currency of Scrum Alliance certification renewal. Holding a Scrum Alliance certification such as CSM or CSPO requires you to earn SEUs over your two-year certification cycle to keep your credential active.

One SEU equals one hour of Scrum-related learning. Attending a Scrum Alliance-approved course is one of the most direct ways to earn the SEUs you need.

What Are PDUs?

Professional Development Units (PDUs) are required by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to maintain certifications such as the PMP, PMI-ACP, and others. PDUs are earned through education and professional activities logged with PMI.

Agile and Scrum training qualifies as Technical PDUs within PMI's Talent Triangle, making our courses a valuable way to satisfy your PMI renewal requirements alongside your Scrum Alliance work.
